Guitarrista, compositor y cantante, considerado el décimo mejor guitarrista del planeta por la revista Guitar World, Steve Vai ha vendido más de quince millones de discos y ha ganado tres premios Grammy, además de haber sido nominado quince veces más. Steve Vai ha girado con G3, Zappa Plays Zappa y The Experience Hendrix Tour y ha diseñado la guitarra Ibañez de siete cuerdas, que toca frecuentemente y que es el instrumento ideal para el lucimiento de su casi sobrehumano virtuosismo. Su recordado álbum Passion and Warfare, de 1990, que fue considerado “el más rico y mejor álbum de guitarra de rock de los 80’s”, será revisitado en su debut en Jazz San Javier, donde Steve Vai dejará constancia, en un escenario donde han tocado tantos grandes guitarristas, de por qué está considerado como uno de los mejores y más espectaculares guitarristas de rock del mundo.
